the sun is sparkling, the rain rumbling, and we badly need some poetry...

Dane Karnick - 1 Poem

Audible

When your lips
perforate
these lines
a piece of you
plummets in
my pocket
enough for me
to look down
at something
squirming
in my shirt
like a web
I feel you
trembling
on words spun
between us
prompting me
to listen for
muttering
in the air
touch the realm
of earshot
which eludes
my fingers
when I try
to deflect
the whisper
cresting
your teeth.
